Alfas of new mid-size sedan Giulia a motor is added after the other. The four-door car launched in June 2016 is Veloce now also with a 210 HP diesel equipment.
The 2.2 liter - diesel is now available in four performance levels: 136, 150, 180 and 210 HP. A special feature of the top version, under the diesel is the standard four-wheel drive Q4 so the new version of Giulia is also the only all-wheel model of series. The car delivered always with eight speed automatic transmission is available only in the Veloce (which is the Italian word for speed).
External features of the new version are the front bumper with larger air intakes, Xenon headlights, 18-inch alloy wheels and a differently designed rear diffuser with integrated dual exhaust. HighGloss fall on on dashboard and door panels, aluminum pedals, and a heated sport steering wheel. Series are also leather seats, a sport steering wheel with integrated engine start button, a dual-zone automatic climate control, and a 6.5-inch monitor. Safety ensure a collision warning system with emergency brake function and pedestrian detection, as well as a lane. A cruise control and tyres with emergency running properties are on board. Alfa provides four year warranty without mileage limit.
The maximum torque of 470 nm is considerably higher than in the other diesel engines, providing all 380 Newton metres. Mileage data Alfa does not indicate so far, they are likely to sound but of course better than the 7.2 seconds for the standard Sprint and the tip of the 230 km/h, that the 180-Horsepower diesel. So the car is more expensive than an Audi A4 3.0 TDI quattro S tronic with 218 HP (from 45.900 euro) and a Mercedes C 250 d 4Matic 9G-Tonic with 204 HP (from 46648 euro). The BMW 330 d xDrive Steptronic with 258 HP (from EUR 50.250) is priced higher. No price was released for the presented at the Paris Motor Show, second Veloce model of Giulia (2.0 liter turbo gasoline engine strong with a 280 HP). (sl)
