Kai Concept: Is this the new Mazda 3?

Skyactiv-X: A "Diesotto" from Mazda

The Best of two worlds
So the engine is supposed to offer the Best of two worlds: the wide usable Rev range and the clean exhaust gases of the petrol engine, as well as the superior response and efficiency of a diesel. The consumption should be on average 20 percent lower than the current 2.0-Liter gasoline engine, the torque should be up to 30 percent higher.
