The BMW X3 3.0 is an SUV of the Bavarian manufacturer that builds on the technical basis of the BMW 3 Series and year produced since 2003 in Austria at the company Magna Steyr, which also builds the Mercedes-Benz G-Class / G-Class. The initial (2003-2008) with xDrive - BMW X3 3.0-equipped four-wheel drive was offered with petrol and diesel engine as a new car, starting in 2008 with pure rear-wheel drive to compete with the Ford Kuga, VW Tiguan and Dacia Duster. The diesel power plant of the BMW X3 3.0 is available in three different power levels with 204 hp (up to 2007), 218 and 286 hp available makes the SUV up to 240 km / h (top model BMW X3 3.0 sd with bi-turbocharger). In the version with petrol engine, the 3.0 - liter engine as used cars (models up to 2006) 231 hp and 272 hp in the new cars built since 2006. In the same year, the BMW X3 3.0 has undergone a facelift, and the differences are revealed at the headlights, tail lights, as well as the kidney grill and the interior of the BMW X3 3.0.
