Small Japanese is cheaper

For more than 30 years Nissan has a handy city car in the program. The smallest member of the European Nissan family goes by the name Micra and is currently under construction in the fourth generation. Since 2010 the model in Germany is on the market. Now the manufacturer has the prices of city dynamics cart lowered.

Up to 1,780 euros cheaper

" We want to make possible access to many motorists our technology. With the Micra - price reduction we now reach even more people and provide them with mobility at an affordable price ," said Thomas Hausch, General Manager of Nissan Europe. In figures, this means: The entry-level model can now be purchased from 10,390 euros. Thus, the Micra has become more favorable in its basic version by 1,010 euros. Depending on the line of the price advantage, however, can be up to 1,780 euros.

Three equipment lines

Three equipment lines remain available. In the basic version " Visia First " include electric front windows, a height-adjustable steering column, power steering and central locking onboard. At least 12.390 euro expensive equipment line " Acenta " are added 15-inch alloy wheels, power mirrors, air conditioning, fog lamps, a multifunction steering wheel and cruise control. The top equipment " Tekna " ( from 15,180 euros ) also includes an electrically anklapp-and heated door mirrors, a keyless entry system, light and rain sensor, a navigation system with 5.8-inch touch screen, a rear parking aid, automatic air conditioning and panoramic glass roof.

Known engines, known transmission

Under the hood continues to operate a 1.2-liter gasoline engine ?? either as a suction version with 80 hp or a compressor version with 98 hp. Both engines comply with the Euro 6 standard and are equipped with a start-stop system. Power transmission to the front wheels assumes a standard five-speed manual, alternatively, a stepless CVT automatic is available . (ml)
