Do you remember the Tribeca? The seven-seater and not just a successful SUV from Subaru? It was here introduced in the year 2006. However, after a moderate Facelift only a year after the start of sales of Subaru stopped sales in Europe in 2010. In the US, the Tribeca was released in 2014 fall. However, the manufacturer has not abandoned the vehicle segment, such as the recent erlkönig images of a large Subaru show, it's SUVs.
Trends and diluted design ideas
The taste of car buyers has shifted in recent years. And if we look at models such as the Skoda Kodiaq, the VW Tiguan Allspace, the SsangYong Rexton, or the Nissan X-Trail so, then affordable SUVs with three seat rows is now fully in the Trend. At the LA Auto Show 2016 Subaru already showed the Viziv-7 Concept at the New York International Auto Show 2017, the Ascent Concept. Now the eponymous prototype follows so, and if we simply imagine the camouflage, then the manufacturer of two of the exciting design of the studies has made an SUV that is likely to resemble an enlarged Outback. Too bad.
New platform and a new engine
Technically, the Ascent could be an exciting vehicle. It is based on the new modular Subaru platform, which came out in condensed Form, for the first time in the new Impreza. In addition, the arrival of the Ascent is likely to mark the introduction of a new Subaru engine. It's supposed to be a 2.4-Liter four-cylinder boxer engine with turbo charging with direct injection, and all four wheels driving. Interestingly, the prototype images is that Subaru has been testing the car, apparently, along with a Toyota Prius and a Chrysler Pacifica. Both models also feature a Plug-in Hybrid drive. The Ascent is so maybe the first part-time Stromer from Subaru?
The last secrets
The Premiere of the series model is already short. You will find at the LA Auto Show, 2017 (1. to 10. December) instead. And if the camouflage fails, will probably be revealed the last secrets of the new model. Also, whether it is the manufacturer for the vehicle class in Europe.(ml)
