The two-seater features a variety of assistance systems, which are intended to make the driver 's life in the BMW i8. Many parts of the sports car, as already manufactured in the BMW i3 made โ€‹โ€‹of carbon fiber reinforced plastics to keep the weight of the hybrid cars below 1,000 kg.
