With an exclusive high-performance version of the all-wheel drive icon, Land Rover Defender ushers in the year of 70. Brand birthday. The Defender Works V8 will be launched as special series of 150 copies. The in-house developed V8 model not only shines with its powerful engine, but also an exclusive equipment.

With the Defender Works V8 Land Rover presents a tribute to strong motorized variants of the 67 years of built series--like the V8 Version of the series III Stage 1 of the year in 1979. The new special edition is the fastest and most powerful Defender of all time. The 5.0-Liter V8 naturally aspirated gasoline engine provides 405 horsepower and 515 lb-ft of torque. So the car accelerates in 5.6 seconds to 100 km/h and attains a top speed of 171 km/h. The V8 petrol engine meets the Euro 5 emission standard no current emission standard, but you would have to get to the green environmental badge.

In addition to the 5.0-Liter engine, the special edition gets an Eight-speed automatic from ZF with sport mode, an upgraded braking system and a Handling Kit with modified springs, dampers and stabilizers. The 18-inch alloy wheels with All-Terrain tires fitted to the Dimension 265/65 R18. The car is as a Defender 90, and as a medium Defender 110 available. Eight paint finishes are available, including two matte. Contrasting with the roof, the wheel arches and the grille received a black finish, while door handles, fuel tank cap and the Defender lettering to be produced on the Aluminium bonnet. Extraordinary accents also the LED headlights.
With Recaro sports seats and leather
Inside, the special-Defender full-scale Windsor presents leather upholstery on the dashboard and door panels, the headliner and of course the Recaro sport seats. The prices in the UK start at 150,000 pounds Sterling (approximately 169,000 euros). The delivery to Germany and other countries is carried out as a single import.
