The MINI Countryman is the fourth branch of the small car series of the British BMW subsidiary. The small SUV is sold as a new car since September 2012, and offers over four meters in length vehicle space for five occupants. Besides the versions of the MINI Countryman with front-wheel drive, the MINI Countryman Cooper D Countryman S Countryman and the MINI John Cooper Works also be offered with del ALL4 all-wheel drive optional, and can thus act in light off-road use. For the drive, the MINI Countryman, a total of seven engines to choose from, four petrol and three diesel. The base diesel in the MINI One D Countryman is the most parsimonious model with 90 hp and consumes only 4.3 liters of diesel per 100 kilometers. The other two diesel Cooper D Countryman (112 hp) and MINI Cooper SD Countryman (143 PS) complete the oil burner. Base gasoline engine in the MINI Countryman is a four-cylinder with 98 hp. In addition to the Cooper Countryman with 122 hp and the Cooper S with 184 hp offered since 2012 the MINI Countryman John Cooper Works stylized with 218 hp to the most potent representative of the series.
