Alfa-Romeo Giulia Sprint GT
The year 1963 witnessed the Alfa Romeo Giulia Sprint GT, the birth of a classic automobile history : As the successor to the Alfa Giulia Sprint the breathtakingly beautiful Giulia Sprint GT, which was called by the put-acting engine cover also " STEPNOSE " appeared. Although the sleek and slim body design of the Alfa Romeo Giulia Sprint GT comes from Bertone, but there came the first time to train the new head designer : Giorgetto Giugiaro. The current owner of Italdesign designed specifically with the Alfa Romeo Giulia GT 1300 Junior a variant that may be considered stylistic ancestor of the new Alfa Brera, with its single chrome strip in the grille, which also sprang from the pen of the old master Giugiaro. The so-called " Bertone " matured over its construction - until 1976 - a living legend. Especially as the homologated for motorsport certain Alfa Romeo Giulia Sprint GTA with 1.6 liter displacement and 115 hp series dominated an entire touring car era and won no less than seven European titles.
