ST200 is most powerful Fiesta of all time

Cologne, 29 February 2016

Ford shows in Geneva an even hotter version his abundant hot Fiesta St. The small, Super agile bundle of energy sold since the introduction of 2013 at least 30,000 times. Apparently enough to again pay a whole fun for the fans. This applies especially to the revised 1.6-liter EcoBoost turbocharged, now bringing it to 200 HP and 290 nm. 18 HP and 50 nm are after all more than before. In the Overboost even 215 HP and 320 Newton meters above the front wheels are for a 20-second limited period. Thus Clio r.s. is the Fiesta ST200 after the mini John Cooper works and the Renault 220 trophy now the third strongest mini athletes.

Performance improves slightly

The power plus affects like a shorter scale total translation of course performance. The Sprint from 0-100 km/h takes just 6.7 seconds, the speed limit rises to 230 km/h. The normal Fiesta ST manages 6.9 seconds respectively 223 km/h.

Yet tighter and spitzer

Also on the chassis of the ST200 Fiesta, Ford again put hand. And, although already the Standard ST applies here as extremely talented and crazy agile (if also sometimes quite rough). Thanks to a dynamic set torque vectoring control, as well as a direct translated steering the ST200 will turn even spitzer. He also gets stronger brakes, even foxier damper rates and shorter Springs, which provide for a lowering of 15 millimeters.

June 2016

The new Fiesta top model on an extra mixed grey named Storm Grey, Matt Black 17-inch and Red brake calipers is visible from the outside. Inside, there are Recaro sport seats and safety belts with contrast stitching and illuminated chrome door sills. The market for the Ford Fiesta ST200 starts in June 2016. His public debut is the most powerful Fiesta of all time at the Geneva Motor Show in 2016 (March 3 to 13). Prices were not yet announced. (black & white)
