At the Geneva Motor Show 2013 Pininfarina honored his longtime boss Sergio Pininfarina (1926 - 2012) with a very special study: the Pininfarina Sergio. Now the car is gone in series, you should never think of an assembly line production. Overall, there are only six copies of the now called Sergio Ferrari cars are all sold. The first of these special Renner has now been delivered. And not just anywhere, but at the SBH Royal Auto Gallery at the Yas Marina racing circuit in Abu Dhabi, where (of course purely coincidental ) is also the "Ferrari World"-Vergnügungspark.
Behind the luxury vehicle collection, the name already indicates, a member of the ruling family in Abu Dhabi. Sheikh Sultan al-Zayed has secured the first six Sergio Ferrari, which recalls the Italian brand at the beginning of the collaboration with Pininfarina 60 years ago. The basis for the extreme Roadster 458 Spider in Speciale version with 605 hp from a 4.5-liter Saugbenziner. That should be enough for the sprint from zero to 100 km / h in just over three seconds. At the same time it was with the similarities, because of Sergio gets missed a very unique appearance that is somewhat reminiscent of the Lancia Stratos. According to Ferrari Sergio is a reminder of the models of the 1960s and 1970s, the Pininfarina designed for the brand. Particularly striking is the flat on the ground sniffing front end of the car. Each of the six Ferrari Sergio is built according to individual customer requirements. This is done in a special studio in Maranello.
