New VW Lavida debuts in Beijing

Chinese media reports that the new Lavida will be with a 116-horsepower 1.5-Liter gasoline engine and a 1.2-Liter turbo gasoline engine with the same power available. In addition, there is a 1.4-Liter Turbo with 150 HP. Buyers have a choice between a five-speed circuit, and a six-speed automatic.

A longer wheelbase for more interior space

In comparison to the previous model, the new Lavida is longer, wider and lower. The extended wheelbase provides more legroom in the rear. Who needs more cargo space, you can still buy the Gran Lavida, the estate version of the Lavida. Both body styles are manufactured by SAIC (Shanghai Automotive Industry Corporation), a Chinese manufacturer, which cooperates with GM and VW.

CC, T-Roc and I. D. Vizzion
