New (electric) Opel Corsa is coming

The day of the teasers, because Opel hurls a first video with flashes of the new Corsa to the world. By 2020, the (fully electric!) compact Opel with the dealers, but in the video on social media is now all about 'coming soon' voice. How soon will that be?

For 2020 are eight launches on opel's calendar with a red marker circled. The three biggest revelations mentions the brand itself, the all-new Corsa, Vivaro and Mokka X. Of the Corsa appears for the first time a fully electric version. By the arrival of DS 3 Crossback that the Corsa the PSA blood sharing, we know more about the powertrain in the German. The electrical DS-3 Crossback E-Tense has the bechikking about 50 kWh. The boordlader can optionally from 7 kW to 11 kW are performed. The total power amounts to 100 kW (136 hp) and 260 Nm. The top is 150 km/h and the car goes in 8,7 seconds at the speed of 100 km/h. With a fully charged battery is the E-Tense according to the WLTP cycle 300 km far. In addition to the Corsa and 3 Crossback also get the Peugeot 208 this powertrain.

On the flashy images on social media appeared, is unfortunately little to see. Although there is spoken about an all-electric Nova, is a regular version in the spotlight with two exhaust pipes on both sides of the rear bumper (photo 2). A flash later, we see a part of the sporting signed the front bumper (picture 3). All in all, it does not about, but given the start of a teasercampagne we have probably not too long more to wait on more news about the all-new Corsa.

The Vivaro belongs, as I said, to the eight great revelations of the coming time. John Dane, Manager commercial vehicles from Opel, the Netherlands, has at AutoWeek stated that the van with a fully electric powertrain comes on the market. This promises to be a great competitor for the Volkswagen Buzz Cargo to be later released to the market.
