From trend to Vignale
Cologne, August 1, 2016
Presented to the spring of 2016, extensively revised Ford Kuga is available now. The SUV comes with some new features, six engines and in five trim levels at the start. Not a lot has happened at the price.
Big trapezoidal grille
The lifted Kuga especially on the new face is to recognize: the Cologne now stretches a large trapezoidal grille in the wind. Thus, the Ford SUV family shows a unified face, because even the larger edge, even 2016 come on the market and the smaller EcoSport are equipped with similar air intakes. In addition, the headlights are sleeker and get LED day driving lights on request.
Buttons and button reduces
The center console is much cleaner: here, the number of switches and knobs has been greatly reduced. New in the program comes the Ford Konnektivitätssystem SYNC 3 Smartphone connect AppLink with an eight inch touch screen. Smartphone features, audio, navigation and air conditioning by voice command can be controlled with the SYNC system.
New 120 HP diesel
New in the engine range is a 1.5-liter TDCi diesel with 120 HP. This replaced the 2.0-liter engine with the same output. With the smaller engine, the newcomer should consume 4.4 liters of diesel per 100 kilometers, the CO2 emission specifies the manufacturer with 115 grams per kilometre. In addition, the Kuga is still available with 2.0-litre TDCi diesel and 150 or 180 HP, both variants can be combined with front-wheel drive and an intelligent all-wheel drive (AWD). A 1.5 liter-EcoBoost petrol engine with 120, 150 or 182 HP which is strongest to have all-wheel drive is also available.
