With the row of the Tipo Fiat appeared again in the compact class. A four-door sedan version gave the kick-off, which already appeared in the year 2015 in some European countries. The station wagon and the five-door hatchback are presented at the Geneva Motor Show (3 to 13 March 2016) the latter might be especially interesting for the German clients as VW Golf rival.
Combi: 550 litre load volume
With 4.37 meters, the five-door hatchback-Tipo is twelve centimeters longer than the VW Golf. 440 litres luggage fit in the trunk of the Italian, the Wolfsburg swallows only 380 liters. The station wagon version of the Tipo is 4.57 metres long and can accommodate 550 liter dam good. Both models have easily be loaded thanks to lower edge and flat trunk floor. The practical features include two removable compartments on the sides of the trunk and a lowerable floor. In addition, the baggage compartment under the floor can be hidden. Two petrol engines, two diesel
Motors are three petrol and two diesel choice. The smallest Otto is a 1,4 litre cleaner that creates about 95 HP. With the same displacement, also a 120 HP stands strong Turbo variant called 1.4 T-Jet in the list. As a third gasoline engine is a 1.6 litre suction cup, with 110 HP. The diesel generators each with a MultiJet direct injection, a 1.3-litre engine with 95 HP and a 1.6-liter version, which delivers 120 HP. Depending on the engine are manual transmission with five or six courses, an automatic or a dual-clutch transmission on board.
Seven inch touch screen
The entertainment system is one of the options and accessories UConnect with seven inch touch screen. It offers also a Bluetooth Handsfree, audio streaming, a SMS text-to-speech function and USB and AUX ports in addition to buttons on the steering wheel. For an additional fee, a TomTom navigation system is also integrated. About the application of UConnect live available on the Apple app store and Google play, many more functions can be used in. These include, for example, streaming services or connections to social networks like Facebook and Twitter.
Five-door hatchback: market launch in the summer 2016
The new body styles in Bursa by the band roll like the four-door car. While the four-door is available in March 2016 at the 13.990 euro at the dealer price, has the five-door hatchback in the summer and the station wagon in autumn 2016 launch.
