An Audi R8, a VW Scirocco, a Porsche 911 or a Chevrolet Corvette police car? Highly unlikely in real use. Nevertheless, there are all these vehicles in the law enforcement outfit. The reason is the initiative founded in the year 2005, "tune it! safe!", which among other things the Federal Ministry of transport, the ADAC, and the Association of automobile tuner are involved in. This year motor is presented so at the Essen show (25 November to 4 December 2016) again a car deployed rapid civil service. Curtain on for a real legend...
The base? A Mustang GT with a 5.0 liter V8 engine
The basis for the year's tune it! safe! vehicle a Mustang GT was provided by Ford. The refinement comes from Wolf Racing. The result goes by the name "Wolf Wide 5.0". Sitting in the wheel wells 20-incher, the landing gear was lowered and is now adjustable in height (10 to 35 mm) and it installed a comprehensive aerodynamics Kit. And so the car looks like a police car, Foliatec contributed the official decor of the police and Hella the special signal conditioning "RTK 7".
Power update for the police-pony
Ready for the hunt on tempo sinners? Not quite. A power increase may indeed not be missed: the standard 421 HP of the 5.0-liter V8's are history. After treating Wolf, the aggregate of 455 PS is good. The torque was increased from 524 to 560 Newton metres. So sprints the Mustang GT in 4.3 seconds from 0 to 100 km/h and reaches a top speed of 268 km/h. You want to pay a visit to the Bill-pony?
