A lot of power, little juice

As many as five driving modes

The system offers no less than five different driving modes: hybrid, Pure, Electric, Power, AWD and Save. The hybrid mode is basically the default and should be the ideal companion in most cases. In Pure mode the electric motor is left on their own and up to a distance of 40 kilometers. Power mode, however, makes the most of both engines. In AWD mode, all four wheels drive and Save mode, the vehicle stores energy to retrieve them later in purely electric mode. Here the pilot can also take advantage of the internal combustion engine at low battery to charge the battery.

Much cheaper than the Porsche Cayenne S Hybrid E

The new Volvo XC90 is in Germany in the early 2015 launch.
