Since 1989, the Japanese car manufacturer Mitsubishi Motors produces the three-door sports car Eclipse. With the 2006 model year the fourth-generation Mitsubishi Eclipse, which is built as a coupe and as a Spyder (convertible) comes to the automotive market.
