The Honda FR-V, a compact van has been revised for 2007 model year. Externally, the Honda FR-V models of the 2007 model year are recognized in the following details : Focus grille and door handles are in dark chrome trim and the rear of the vehicle received a facelift. The reflectors of the headlights and the taillights of the Honda FR-V are slightly darkened and are intended to continue the sporty design. The new 1.8 i-VTEC engine with 140 hp - known from the current Honda Civic - replaces the existing petrol engines with 1.7 and 2.0 liter engine in the Honda FR-V. With the latest development stage of Honda's VTEC variable valve timing, the engine is to combine a compelling power delivery with exemplary low fuel consumption. First FR-V will also be a 5-speed automatic for the new petrol engine available in the Honda, which is to emphasize the character of comfortable travel Honda FR-V and for frequent travelers as an alternative to the 6-speed manual. With the 2007 model year, all variants of the Honda FR-V are standard with the vehicle stabilization program VSA.
