Fiat Freemont
The Fiat Freemont is a new Multivan, which was first introduced by the Italian company at the Geneva Motor Show in 2011. Thanks to the liaison with General Motors, the Fiat Freemont is derived from the base of the Dodge Journey for the European market as a family van or SUV. So shall the new cars now a real alternative to Vauxhall Zafira, Ford S-MAX and VW Touran and muster points with ample standard equipment. To drive the Fiat Freemont a 2.0 - liter Multijet diesel engine with direct injection is fitted, which is available in two power levels. The engine is offered for the Fiat Freemont with 140 and 170 hp. The pulse generator is coupled to a manual transmission and transmits power to the front wheels. In addition to the flagship model of the Fiat Freemont, which is powered by a new 3.6 - liter V6 gasoline engine with 276 horsepower, a 2.4 liter gasoline engine with 170 horsepower is available. Both petrol receive a factory 6-speed automatic transmission. The 4.89 meter tall Fiat Freemont is equipped as standard with seven seats, which extend over three rows in the interior. The rear seats of the Fiat Freemont are positioned slightly higher for a greater feeling of space. If necessary, the rear row of seats can be folded down and sunk into the floor. Thus, the Fiat Freemont is a flat load floor and can extend the boot volume to 1,461 liters. Compared with the Dodge Journey the front and the rear has been updated to the Fiat brand image.
