With the Seat Leon ST, Volkswagen daughter first time offers a combination in the 3rd generation of the series and so extends the range for the Spanish golf offshoot. Based on the modular transverse matrix (MQB), on which many other models such as the VW Golf 7 or the Skoda Octavia is based, the Seat Ibiza ST offers a more exciting shape with plenty of luggage space. The combination of the sister model Golf Variant secretes particularly for the purchase price of a new car and Seat Ibiza ST is an ideal car for the family. Motor side, the buyer the full scoop : A total of seven engines craftsmen stand for the Seat Leon ST to choose from, three diesel and four petrol. The modern TDI engines cover a range from 90 to 150 hp and consume 3.8 to 4.5 liters of diesel per 100 kilometers. With a configuration of the Seat Ibiza ST with a petrol engine of the combination may have recourse to an output of 86 hp in the base model to 180 hp TSI petrol engine. Whether the 250-hp engine in the Cupra Seat Leon ST becomes operational, is not yet known but quite conceivable.
