Peugeot 204 Break

The PEUGEOT 204 Break (station wagon) was introduced in 1965 and was one of the first station wagon in its class. Was built in the PEUGEOT 204 Break through the unimaginably long period of 11 years (until 1976). Of just 3.97 meters long wagon offered a boot volume of at least 1,475 liters, despite the visually quite delicate structure. The small car was the first PEUGEOT, wherein the transversely mounted front engine with a four-speed manual gearbox driving the front wheels. Another technical innovation of the PEUGEOT 204 Break at the time was the smallest passenger car diesel engine that delivers a power output of at least 40 hp from 1,255 cc. Already with the 202 Commerciale, which there was in several variants, PEUGEOT proved his competence combined. As a modern successor to the Peugeot 204 Break the 207 SW was introduced in 2007.
