Hair, 15 December 2016

The year 2016 is coming to an end and 2017 already waiting to release many car new ideas on us. One will be the Volvo XC60 of our Erlkönig photographer has now caught winter testing at the Swedish Arctic circle. We have the information about the little brother of the chic XC90.

Typical Volvo design

Although the cover of the new Sweden SUV compared to older photos always still quite not fails, a few details are anyway. On the front headlights with the same characteristic light graphic as in the XC90 can be seen. Also the large grille also is likely to be adopted. In page view, you can imagine the Volvo SUV silhouette with slightly bent rear under the protection plates. One looks at the Erlkönig from behind, is also the taillights known by his predecessor.

Inside and in the XC90

The new XC60 is built like also the XC90 on the SPA platform, which is significantly larger than the new CMA platform, on which, for example, the compact SUV XC40 to base. In the Interior, we expect the same upright display as it is found also in the XC90. Former Erlkönig images of the XC60 however reveal that the monitor in the smaller SUV might be tilted more to the driver. The current XC60 was unveiled in 2008 and got a facelift in 2013. The entry vehicle with 150 diesel HP starts 35.950 euro, the top XC60 50.700 euros. (mf)
