With a gently modified look, new engine versions and more Extras go Mercedes CLA and CLA shooting brake into the new model year. While the Coupé at the New York International Auto Show (25 March to 3 April 2016) is shown, the shooting brake presents sports awards in Berlin itself only at the awards ceremony for the Laureus World on April 17 and 18, 2016. Both models can be ordered starting in April and come to the dealers in July 2016.
Diamond Grill now series
All models have now equipped the spotted "diamond Grill" with black high-gloss pins so far seen him only with the urban equipment line, while the AMG line and Sport models had a diamond grille with chrome pins. Front a new bumper with ornamental bar in silver, black or chrome is used. New to the rear bumper is a hood with integrated decorative rod in chrome or black (night package) between the tailpipes on request. Even the tailpipes are now built into the bumper. Cavansitblau is introduced as a new exterior metallic. The cycling program was expanded. So far there were two 18-inch alloy wheels, there are five, including one in the new five double-spoke design in the future.
Interior: New trims and more options
New seat covers and trim, and chrome-plated controls enhance the Interior. The free-standing display of media can be ordered in a higher-quality version as well: this is slimmer and with eight inch an inch larger than the standard. The instrument cluster receives new dials and red pointer. LED spotlights are available on request. So you get other brake lights and signal lights: your brightness is regulated three-stage (day, driving at night, stand at night), which reduces glare for the following vehicles. New to the CLA is hands-free access: with a flick of your foot under the rear can be so that the trunk lid or rear hatch open Freehand, at the shooting brake also closed. Optional both iPhones and Android smartphones can now integrate and operate via voice control.
New fuel and new all-wheel-drive version
The diesel base model there are 180 d also in an extremely economical BlueEfficiency Edition. This variant of 109 PS diesel is more fuel efficient than the normal version 0.2 litres. Also a new version of all wheel is added: CLA 220 4Matic has a two-liter gasoline engine with 184 Horsepower and is coupled with the seven-speed dual-clutch transmission as standard. The Spritsparversion 180 BlueEfficiency with 122 PS strong petrol engine now also for the shooting brake is also available.
CLA 45 with updated look
The AMG versions also benefit from maintaining model. The LED lights are now standard, the double disc is running in the grille now in silver chrome instead of titanium grey. There is also a new tear-off edge on the trunk lid, and the front bumper now has the new A-wing design with front splitter inserts in Titanium Grey matte and flics in glossy black. New at the rear is the diffuser insert with four vertical fins. Inside the dashboard are now standard with leather, red stitching set accents. The trim before the passenger is alternately matte and shiny. The technique remains the same, but the stronger engine and various other technical innovations were introduced already in September 2015. To the prices of the cultivated model CLA, Mercedes says nothing. So far, there was the best version for 29.215 euro (CLA 180 Coupé). (sl)
