Successor to the Skoda Rapid Spaceback is called Range

The bullet is through the church: Skoda gives the successor of the Rapid Spaceback, a new name: Range.

In december draws Skoda the cloth of the successor of the current generation of Rapid Spaceback. The Czech republic now report that the new hatchback is not Rapid or Rapid Spaceback is going to be called, but 'Range'.

Skoda choose no doubt for a completely new name to the difference with the current Rapid Spaceback, a car which is more in the budgethoek operates while the new Church is a direct competitor for cars in the mainstream C-segment should be. Scala, Latin for 'staircase' or 'ladder' seems to be chosen to be the step to emphasize that the car is on the statusladder.

The Range is the production version of the car Skoda with the Vision RS Concept is already a preview gave (picture 3, 4 and 5). The car gets a far down continuous rear window, something we know from the current Rapid Spaceback. Below that piece of glass is the brand name 'Skoda' written in full. The Range is according to Skoda, the first car that the new design language of the brand carries. Range
