Restrained rustic

Differently but as such at the recently lifted Octavia Scout the differences to the normal execution in the 4.70 metre-long Kodiaq are quite discreetly. The Scout of dark tinted Windows in the rear area is visible next to the rear underrun protection. Otherwise Skoda opts for silver items, about part of the grille, mirror housings or the rear underrun protection. As standard, the car is on a 19-inch alloy wheels. On the front fenders and the glove box a plaque indicates the Scout.

More protection for the site

The basis for the equipment provides the line of "Ambition". An off-road Assistant, a bad way package with underbody and engine protection, as well as a parking aid are standard front and rear. Inside looks the Kodiaq-Scout-buyers on seats with Alcantarabezügen, door panels in a similar style and various Kodiaq logos.

Only with all-wheel drive

Offered is the Skoda Kodiaq Scout only with all-wheel drive. The engine line-up includes two gasoline with 150 and 180 HP plus two diesel, the 150 respectively making 190 HP. Some key data to the off-road capabilities of the SUVs are interesting: 194 mm ground clearance hitting a ramp angle of 19.7 degrees. Front of the slope angle is 22 degrees, back 23.1 degrees. The price of the Kodiaq Scout does not react Skoda still. For comparison: the Scout extra cost is the Octavia at around 2,000 euros. (rh)
