Long gone are the days when cars in the 3.50 metre class were rolling disclaimers. Certainly, even today, VW are up and their ilk often enough moms mobile shopping bag, cleaning service-express or Einstiegsmobil for young people. But now city car have reached a level that makes it easy to fully fledged Erstwagen. Best example of this is the new Kia Picanto, which now first pictures were published.
Stalkier optics
To show the little Koreans, the sport version of GT-line. The sleek design was developed in the Frankfurt design by KIA. Parallel to the new Rio (in the side window line), but also to the large Optima (at the front) is striking. The new Picanto reminds at the rear, however, still most of his predecessor. In the meantime, ranges now not so far down the rear window. Slightly wider C-pillars make at the rear end of the body seem not so choppy the new Picanto as so far.
Hardly any growth, yet spacious
A surprise is the consistent length of 3.59 m. The wheelbase grows easily on 2.40 meters, which is plus of 15 millimeters.
