BETTER PARTSCASE visions at CES

Who has visions, should go to the doctor, who has a lack thereof, could fly to Las Vegas. At the local Electronics Show CES (5th to 8th January 2017) there to see enough future performances. Mercedes shows what is meant by the corporate strategy CASE (connected, autonomous, shared & service and electric drive): the future follows the Megatrends of networking, autonomous driving, flexible business models, and electric drives.
Concept EQ and vision van
Mercedes two studies shows concretely: the electric SUV 2016 known from the Paris Motor Show named the concept EQ and the transporter named vision van featured also in the autumn. New "fit & healthy", a vision of how to combine health awareness with the mobility of the future, this could be something like an E-bike or a scooter with hybrid drive. Exhibits of artificial intelligence and the connection of the vehicle to the "smart home" give further insight into the Mercedes research. The partner brand smart presents also the new service "smart ready to share", without giving away what could be. A normal car but probably because Car2Go is not present already for 2012 in the United States.
Källenius: "mobility will change"
At the exhibition, OLA Källenius will have his first appearance as new Chief developer of Mercedes. "Our concept of mobility will change over the next five to ten years more than in 50 years previously", believes Källenius, who is from January 2017 in the new Office.
