British upper middle classes there from fall 2017 again as a Combi

Schwalbach, 26 April 2017

Upper middle class had so far come from Jaguars no wagon version. Unlike the first version of the XF no Sportbrake belonged to 2015 introduced second generation. But that is about to change. Now, the British manufacturer released a first image.

Large glass roof

The photo shows the car from above, so that is not much to see. Most notable is the large, dark tinted glass roof, which extends not only over both rows of seats, but even on a part of the loading area. In addition published contour of side view shows a long combined with elegant window line. Jaguar however not published this contour as a sketch, but let himself come up with something new: the page view was painted under the watchful eye of Manager Neil Stubbey on the Holy tennis lawns of Wimbledon.

Market launch in autumn

Still, Jaguar announces that the combination again will be called Sportbrake, and that the car has world premiere in the summer of 2017. Market introduction is in the autumn. Price, the old Sportbrake was just under 3,000 euros over the sedan. If one assumes that the 180-Horsepower diesel is the basic engine, prices at around 50,000 euros are likely to start. Thus, the car something about the new BMW would be 5 Series Touring there with 190 HP diesel engine for nearly 48,000 euros. (sl)
