Trabant P 600
The Trabant P 600 (internal designation : P 60), which was produced 1962-1965, is a slightly modified version of the previous model P 500 A fundamental change took the automaker VEB Sachsenring only on the engine before : The capacity of the air-cooled two-cylinder two-stroke engine was increased from 500 to 600 cc. The new engine of the Trabant P 600 now delivers 23 hp. The body has been taken over unchanged from the P 500, so that the P 600, like its predecessor, as a sedan, station wagon, van and camping model is available. Until the cessation of production in 1964 - the combination is still made up 1965 - runs the Trabant P 600 still about 100,000 times from the tape.
