The Toyota Yaris TS II, a sporty small car, is offered as a three and five-door hatchback. The new top model, the second generation of the Toyota Yaris subcompact series, made its debut at the Paris Motor Show on the 28th September 2006. The launch takes place in Germany in January 2007. The heart of the Toyota Yaris TS II is a newly developed 1.8-liter four-cylinder engine. It is equipped with variable valve timing for intake and exhaust and develops 132 hp. A retuned, lowered suspension and an exclusive styling package underline the active character of the Toyota Yaris TS II and daf ÜR should ensure that the new top model in the range stands out visually from the crowd. The black mesh grille with emblem TS, darkened headlight surrounds, 17-inch aluminum wheels with 205 wide tires provide a strong presence. Redesigned front and rear aprons with integral light units, a chrome exhaust tailpipe and a range of exclusive exterior colors round off the styling package for the Toyota Yaris TS II. The standard Dynamic Stability Control VSC, as well as a complete package including driver knee airbag airbag II to guarantee optimum active and passive safety in the Toyota Yaris TS.
