VW Multivan PanAmericana is here

Geneva (Switzerland), March 1, 2016

VW sets a PanAmericana version of the current generation of Multivan. The manufacturer is the name of the particularly robust versions of the Bulli. The name comes from a highway system that connects Alaska to Tierra del Fuego on a route of about 26,000 kilometers. The new Multivan PanAmericana IAA was presented at the auto show first in the autumn 2015 as a study and is now in its series version at the Geneva Motor Show (3 to 13 March 2016).

Also to have pure front-wheel drive

Thanks to a height lowering by 20 millimeters (which is also voted on request), a four wheel drive 4Motion and depending on request 17 or 18-inch wheels, the Bulli in rough terrain is progressing. If you're planning a less demanding tours, you can order the PanAmericana with pure front-wheel drive for the first time. As engines, all units from the drive range of the Multivan with the exception of the 84 PS TDI can be ordered.

Logos on the B-pillars

Offroadgerecht to dress the PanAmericana, front and rear bumpers have a scratch shield paint. Front and rear design rear underrun protection shall be mounted. Addition there are sill extensions and a stone chip protector in the lower part of the body. The Abenteuermobil is also darkened Fund Windows, equally dark LED tail lamps, and PanAmericana logos on the B-pillars.

Corrugated sheet metal and rubber mats

Inside are on request a Chequer plate floor in the passenger compartment and rugged rubber car mats. Facilities include a leather-covered gear knob, an automatic climate control, a multifunction leather steering wheel, pedal in stainless steel finish, a Climatronic and luminous PanAmericana lettering in the door sills.
