Three Audi A6s knock Opel Zafira off the road, but the driver does not give up

The Zafira keeps the faster Audis busy for a particularly long time

An Opel Zafira fleeing from a number of police A6s sounds like Michael van Gerwen trying to win a running race against Sifan Hassen, Femke Bol and Daphne Schippers. Yet the driver of the Opel manages to keep it up for a long time. In the video below you can see it getting lighter every minute, which reveals that the police chase on the Opel Zafira is taking a long time.

The driver comes into the sights of the police due to his driving behavior. He ignores a stop sign and flees. When the rapid response vehicles arrive at the Zafira again, the officers devise an inbox campaign. One Audi must drive in front of the target, one next to it and one behind it. This attempt to stop the car fails.

The Zafira driver squeezes left along the front A6 and continues his attempt to escape. In a second attempt, the police try with two vehicles. The Opel swings from left to right and gets a tap from the rear Audi. After this, the police decide to take it a bit easier to see if the driver changes his mind. That doesn't happen.

The Zafira is knocked off the road

When it starts to get light, the police think it's enough. At an exit, one of the Audi A6s sees an opportunity to punch the right rear of the MPV. This happens at 5 minutes and 55 seconds in the video. A flawless PIT maneuver begins the end of the police chase on the Opel Zafira. Almost, then.

There are immediately two other Audis on the Zafira. The driver does not want to give up yet and drives into a ditch. There he is first rammed from the side and later also from behind. The driver is handcuffed. Small detail: the driver did not have a driver's license. The man receives a prison sentence of two years for dangerous driving and therefore endangering colleagues.
