15 HP and 20 Newton meter
Under the hood of the performance is the same two-liter turbo heart that fuels even the normal GTI. In the top model the aggregate 15 HP more than in the forest and meadows variant and tackle a torque of 370 Newton metres from its four cylinders 20 Newton meters more than that of the non-performance. The power is transferred either by a manual transmission with six gears or a seven-speed DSG at the front axle. A differential lock is a standard.
More facilities and GTI-details
The performance stands next to the motor power by GTI logos on the front brake calipers and ventilated discs at front and rear axle from the normal GTI. Display in the Speedo unit, the new radio "Composition media" with eight speakers, auto-dimming rear-view mirror as well as a telephone and USB interface belong to the extended standard equipment the active info.
