You wanted to have 99 one Aston Martin Vanquish Zagato, gone out but empty? Then, plan B is now available: at the Concours d' Elegance in Pebble Beach, California (18 to 21 August 2016), the British showed the called Volante Roadster version of the special vanquish. Here, too, only 99 copies are to be built.
Already a long tradition between Aston Martin and Zagato is also open wagons. Examples are the V8 Vantage Volante 1987 or the DB AR1 issued in 2003. The latter was a specially-dressed DB7, of which only 99 vehicles were built.
The vanquish Zagato Volante shares much with brother closed, be it the 600 HP strong V12 or the round taillights. Much more striking, the two 'Hills' behind the seats are pronounced in the Roadster, they lead to the rear cover. Inside the Zagato Z is distributed in addition to carbon, leather and bronze lush. If you belong to the lucky ones who get one of the 99 vehicles: beginning 2017 the deliveries are scheduled to begin. (rh)
