JvB-moto realized first refurbishment

From 19 to 21 may 2017, the Café-racer-Festival "the reunion" took place in the Italian Monza. The event attracts over 10,000 motorcycle enthusiasts. Perfect to introduce the latest motorcycle design provided by BMW motorcycles in collaboration with JvB-moto from Cologne on the legs. It's a quite heavily modded BMW R of Mahnaz Scrambler.
Land Rover, Unimog and Bobber
With the new vehicle, BMW celebrates not only the premiere of a unique model, but also the first carried out reconstruction of a R of Mahnaz Scrambler. So far, the customization is limited to new paint jobs or the one or other body part. Which design elements Jens of the Brauck (the brains behind JvB-moto) accesses the scrambler? They come by Land Rover and the Unimog. Influences of Bobber bikes are also apparent. With a narrow line, the huge motor is also emphasized.
The data of the original
Reminder: driven the BMW developed R of Mahnaz Scrambler by an air-cooled 1.2-liter two-cylinder Boxer engine, 110 HP and 116 nm of torque. The final drive is a drive shaft, specified the maximum speed 200 km/h. The price from the factory? 13,000 euros.
A true premiere tour
Back to reconstruction: for eight months the Brauck Jens worked on his vehicle. "The biggest challenge was the tank," he explains. "It is narrow and six centimeters shorter than the original." After "The Reuinon", the bike has a veritable tour is now: from 27 to 28 May it will be shown on the "bike shed" (London, UK), "Wheels & waves" (Biarritz, France) follows from the 14th to the 18th of June, then the "BMW Motorrad of days (7 to 9 July in Garmisch-Partenkirchen), the"pure & crafted"(26 to 27 August in Berlin) and finally the"Glemseck 101"(Leonberg) from 1 to 3 September."
