Jo Stenuit draw new Mazda's

The 49-year-old Jo Stenuit is a step up in Mazda's European designladder. He leaves his position as head of the department of Interior Design and Fire Style for Design Director at Mazda's European branch.

Stenuit follows this in August resigned Kevin Rice. The British artist of the current MX-5 and CX-5 gave last summer after four years to want to stop. With his European team, reports Stenuit to Ikuo Maeda, Global Design Chief, and Hajime Seikaku, Vice-President of Mazda's European R & D Centre in Oberursel.

The Belgian designer studied in London at the Royal College of Art and has since worked for twenty years at the Japanese car brand. He is currently working already in the design and development center in the German Oberursel. As head of the department of Interior Design and Fire Style, he was responsible for the interior design of Mazda's current models and he had the Mazda brand in Europe, to improve. He was also a chief designer of two concept cars: the Kiyora (2008), and Hakaze (2007).

The European research and development centre in Oberursel is one of Mazda's three global centres. In addition to technological innovation for the European market belongs to the design of new models to the core. In total, approximately 100 employees from twelve countries in the development center.
