Frankfurt am Main, 26 February 2016
Hyundai is especially proud of this car: at the Geneva car show (3 to 13 March 2016), the Koreans show the Ioniq in all three versions of the drive. According to the manufacturer, it is the first car designed consistently for three alternative drive systems. And what is with the VW Golf, will turn some up now? Also it as a plug-in hybrid and electric cars, but just not as a hybrid is.
Various Akkugrößen
But in turn: we take a detailed look at the technique of the three different models of the Ioniq. As a general rule: there are different sized batteries. Small in the hybrid, in the plug-in hybrid and big in the E-version. The two hybrid-Ioniq are a newly developed 1.6 liter gasoline engine with direct injection. It produces 105 Horsepower at 5,700 revolutions per minute, at 4,000 rpm, the maximum torque of 147 Newton metres is applied. According to Hyundai, the thermal efficiency of the engine employees in the Atkinson-cycle is 40 percent. A six-speed dual-clutch transmission is fitted always.
With and without plug
When the hybrid delivers an electric motor performance and 170 nm of torque extra additional 32 kilowatts. A lithium-polymer battery with 1.56 kWh capacity stores the necessary juice. The system output is 141 HP, maximum torque 265 Newton meters. How the plug-in hybrid is the top speed 185 km / h. 79 grams of CO2 emissions per kilometre is. Who wants to drive longer distances electrically, should access to the Ioniq with plug-in hybrid. Here, the electric motor produces 61 HP, the battery stores energy 8.9 kilowatt hours. According to Hyundai, that enough to get good 50 kilometres wide electrically. The CO2 value is specified with 32 grams per kilometer.
Flott power
The Ioniq electric is third in the League. It differs in a covered Grill of the hybrid variants. A lithium-polymer battery volume will allow a power range of 250 kilometers with 28 kilowatt hours. The maximum output is 120 HP, peak torque at 295 nm. As a tip, Hyundai calls 165 km/h.
Electric version nor 2016
In all Ioniq offer full digital instruments a seven-inch screen and an eight inch touch screen. On offer are many assistance systems such as an adaptive cruise control or a dead angle Warner. The load times of the Ioniq variants Hyundai does not react yet, only to the market launch. Hybrid and electric coming in the second half of the year 2016, the plug-in hybrid follows 2017.(rh)
