The current VW Beetle has the market in 2011. The convertible was followed a year later. Now, after four or five years, the Wolfsburg refresh the product range of the beetle's heirs with new customization options and special models.

Motors and prices remain

The new beetle is available as a Coupé and as a convertible into the equipment base, design and R-line. The engine range includes as three petrol and two diesel units and ranges from 105 to 220 HP. The prices have not changed despite the update and start at 18.375 euro for the Coupé and 22,800 euros for the Cabriolet.

Optical tuning

Customers are now the new liveries "Bottle Green Metallic" or "White Silver Metallic" available. The bumpers, as well as the LED taillights have been visually redesigned. In the wheel arches, new 17 - or 18-inch wheels pull on request. The latter is there for the trim lines design and R-line (formerly beetle sport). The Interior should benefit mainly from a brighter dash light and a new dial. Whoever wants to can also colored paint to the center console.

Allstar, denim and beetle exclusive

In addition to the standard versions, Volkswagen offers the beetle in three special models: the "all star" (from 22.775 euro) is available as standard on 17-inch and has a climate control as well as a navigation system on board. The special model "Denim" (for at least 23,600 euros) is modelled on the legendary jeans beetle from 1974. Especially the jeansfarbene hood, the sports seats with blue cover, as well as the skip bags in the style of jeans are in the new edition. Last, but not least: the "beetle exclusive" and that "Beetle Convertible exclusive". You based design and R-line on the trim levels and withdraw from the series by fancier wheels with gloss-turned surface, aluminum door sills, and nappa leather. Cost? At least 24.200 EUR.
