BMW launches new hybrid models

At the IAA 2015 in Frankfurt ( September 17 to 27 ) of the Munich carmaker BMW is presenting the same three models will be available in the future with the plug-in hybrid technology. 2er Active Tourer as four-wheel hybrid
Especially in the focus is on the plug-in hybrid version of the Active Tourer 2er: The BMW 225xe. Built under the rear seats lithium-ion battery supplies the 2er with enough electricity for 41 zero emission kilometers ?? wherein the electric power is fully to the rear axle. In combination with the 1.5-liter three-cylinder TwinPower turbo engine that drives the front axle, resulting in a system output of 224 hp. In addition, the 225xe in hybrid operation then the electrified Allradler, which can pay for itself, especially in bad weather conditions. In combined fuel consumption of only 2.1 225xe is to 2.0 liters per 100 kilometers. Available from March 2016 the 225xe is priced at 37,800 euros it starts.
Width hybrid range
