There was a teaser picture, and anyone without manners has photographed the brochure, before he should. But now it's officially here: The new Suzuki Swift Sport will be making his debut at the IAA in Frankfurt. And what he has on the Data list, sounds quite tempting.
Looks quality

Also, the new "Champion Yellow", stolen from the Junior-WRC-rally-car, get the Swift Sport exclusive.
Mega-Diet
The biggest Surprise in the case of Suzuki's Mini-athletes is revealed but when you look at the scale. Hard-to-Sport-Swift was never, now, however, he is a true ascetic. Somehow managed the clever people at Suzuki, 80 kilos from the little rascals out of scratch. So he is now at 970 pounds. The power to weight is 4.2 pounds per HP. The sounds in the booth for fun. For the first time with a Turbo
Yes, the 1.6-litre vacuum cleaner is now in the Suzuki Swift Sport at the end. Is replaced by a 1.4-Liter Turbo with 140 HP (plus four HP) and 230 Newton metres (plus 70 Newton-meters). The extent to which the charging destroyed the formula for simple driving fun remains to be seen. A good sign, however: The six-speed manual gearbox is taken from the old model, with only slight Changes (for a bit more comfort).
No driving performance
In the interior of the new Swift Sport with a half-shell seats and a new Seven-inch touch screen with Android Auto/Apple Carplay/ Mirror Link-support. As a model for a real sport, shows off the top of Swift with lots of red accents, red stitching and a red speedo. Also: Alupedale and a chrome shift knob. As the normal versions of the new Swift, the Sport with an entire Armada of assistance and safety systems. Including for the first time, Suzuki is also a lane-keeping system with steering intervention. Information to market launch, price and performance have not called the Japanese so far.(sw)
