M as team

It's a decades-kept tradition: the German national football team ( both men as well as women ) is transported in a Mercedes bus to the games. Now the men's team, in his world champion in 2014, a new vehicle was presented. At the premiere of the Travego M in the special design the player Jonas Hector, Lukas Podolski and Bastian Schweinsteiger were present. Also one of the party: Team manager Oliver Bierhoff.

Better safe than sorry

The bus was unveiled two days before the international match of the German team in Cologne against the United States. Mercedes stressed how safe the Travego M is. About by an automatic brake assist and the forward-looking Cruise Control, which engages in the transmission control. Oliver Bierhoff enjoys against more to the optic. There is of course the new logo with the words "The team " that are legendary for the World Cup win in 2014 and the documentary of the same name.

And who is allowed the Mercedes Travego M drive? Of course not Lukas Podolski, but Wolfgang Hochfellner. So is the long-serving driver of the team, who raves about the performance of his new company car: " With its 476 hp, the Travego M drives like a sporty sedan. " Since 1990, Mercedes is the way the general sponsor of the national team. Only in European and World Championships Hochfellner must renounce the brand with the star.
