On the occasion of the 90th Birthday of CEO David Brown, Aston Martin unveiled in 1993 at the Geneva Motor Show a new sports car : the Aston Martin DB7. Of this sports car a total of 7,000 units were built between 1994 and 2003, so that is the Aston Martin DB7, the most successful model of the British luxury carmaker. As the successor to the DB7 Aston Martin V8 is the first vehicle of the brand, which has no V8 engine. The engine was initially only a 3.2 - liter inline six-cylinder engine with 340 hp. In just 6.0 seconds, 100 km / h mark is reached in both the Aston Martin coupe version as well as the convertible version of Aston Martin DB7 Volante.
