Summit and Trailhawk: Fine or rough?

The Grand Cherokee is the largest SUV you can buy from Jeep. At the New York International Auto Show (March 25-April 3), Americans reveal two new models in the Grand Cherokee range. The vehicles look on the very American name Trailhawk and Summit.
The Trailhawk wants in the area
The Trailhawk represents the geländegängigste vehicle of the Grand Cherokee family. Among other things that belong to the standard off-road features "Quadra-Drive II 4 x 4 all-wheel system with electronic lock on the rear axle and a special form of Jeep air suspension, which is specially tailored to the Trailhawk. A skid plate and a matt black bonnet are also on board. Red towing hooks and special off-road tyres complete the picture. Inside, there is an all-Black Interior with suede leather with red stitching. A Trailhawk logo on the steering wheel indicates the special vehicle.
The Summit is the superior man
The Grand Cherokee Summit is the second new model. He represents the luxury spearhead of the six versions of the Grand Cherokee. A new front mask including different grilles and LED fog lamps is the main change in the exterior design. Inside, a feel-good atmosphere is created thanks to a leather interior. Dashboard, center console and door panels are covered with nappa leather. The roof is covered in suede. The feature highlights include an active noise cancellation in the cabin, as well as a music system by Harman Kardon. The Quadra-drive system and the air suspension provide the dynamic component also at the Summit. The vehicles should roll later this year in the showrooms of Jeep dealers. (mf)
