Outlook before the premiere in Paris

The Paris Motor Show (1st to 16th October 2016) is around the corner and the first manufacturer get watery your mouth already. Including Kia, presenting first sketches of the compact car in the world premiere of the new Rio in Paris.

Slightly more muscular

The drawings show a Kia Rio, acting muskulistee and more aggressive than the previous model. The front overhang, the wheelbase and hood were extended significantly compared to its predecessor. Also the C-pillars have been slightly more upright than so far. The interior design, which can be seen on the sketches, seems to have become somewhat more tidy and modern: is a deeper geschüsselt the steering wheel and center console carries less buttons.

World premiere in Paris

The result is the new look in the KIA design centers in Frankfurt and in the Irvine, California, who collaborate with the design headquarters in the Korean Namyang. The new Kia Rio has its world premiere on September 15, 2016 and will be presented on 29 September in the run-up to the Paris Auto Salon. He should go still end of 2016 in production. (mf)
