The first rays of sun now awaken the desire for open-top driving. With two roadster special editions Mercedes wants to benefit from it. Both rely mainly on a fresh outfit.
Just in time for the beginning of spring, Mercedes special models of the SLK and SL roadsters on. Both are based primarily on their optical model brothers. The SLK " Carbon Look Edition" has, among other things, a special front apron, gray painted wheels and dark-framed headlights. In addition, the roll bar is held in anodized aluminum. The eponymous lightweight material can be found in, among others, on the center console in the interior. Other features include a sport suspension, larger brakes and a neck-level heating for driver and front passenger. For the drive of all gasoline and diesel engines to choose from, and they cover a power range from 135 kW/184 hp to 310 kW/421 hp in the SLK 55 AMG. The additional charge for special equipment, depending on the engine version between 6,426 euros and 6,962 euros. The cheapest standard version of the small roadster, the SLK 200 for 39 359 euros.
Also on Design Tools is the larger Mercedes SL " 2 look Edition". The two-seater plays with the contrast of black roof on white, gray or silver painted body. The two-tone is also reflected in the leather of the interior. There are 19-inch wheels, air seats and head space heating for driver and front passenger. In the engine, the customer has a choice of V6 and V12 engines of 225 kW/306 hp and a maximum of 463 kW/630 hp. The additional cost for the special model amount depending on the engine at 5,355 euros to 9,877 euros. Cheapest price standard model, the SL 350 for 95 854 euros.
