Mercedes-Benz adds in China, a new variant of the leveringslijst of the GLC-class. It comes to the GLC L, a variant with a longer wheelbase than the original.
A car manufacturer that in the higher segments a model on the Chinese market, will do well to the car slightly to stretch. In China, cars like the 3-series, 5-series, and C - and E-class available with a longer wheelbase and also SUVS can't escape that uitrekkerij. Earlier this year, presented by Audi in China, the Q5 is L and that car will have resistance of this brand new Mercedes-Benz GLC L.
The GLC L has a ten-centimeter longer wheelbase and thus the distance between the front and rear axle on 2,97 metres. The total length of the car is 4,76 meters, while the European version is 4,67 meters long. All the extra inches come completely to the benefit of the rear passengers. On the optical level, there is practically no difference with the GLC as we know it. Just the longer rear doors reveal that this is not a regular GLC-class.
The GLC L comes in China in addition to the regular GLC-class in the price list. Mercedes-Benz delivers the GLC L as 200, 250 and 300. The additional cost for the extended version compared to the regular version at roughly € 1.300.
