The largest SUV in the Kia brand is getting a Facelift: At the IAA in 2017 in Frankfurt (14. - 24. September) can be seen, the Changes for the first time.

However, the external modifications are understated: The bumpers have been redesigned, the headlights and taillights with LED technology. The Kia typical tiger-nose grille gets a dark metal surface. New other wheels in 17 "to 19", and two colors called "Rich Espresso" and "Gravity Blues". In the Cockpit there is a different steering Wheel and redesigned instruments, modified, one also has the LCD Display of the air conditioner. More gears for the automatic
Under the hood, the engines remain untouched. For the European market, Kia also provides for a two-liter Diesel with 185 HP and a 2.4-Liter gasoline engine with 188 HP, but on the German market, it will remain at 2.2 CRDi 200 HP. Here is a new Eight-speed automatic replaces the previous solution with six levels. In conjunction with all-wheel drive, the CO2 emission is reduced from 174 to now 164 grams per kilometre. Four different driving modes, the athletic-inspired GT-Line are also amenities as well as a Fatigue warning system and a lane departure with active steering intervention. Also, the high beam will be a wizard. In the fourth quarter of 2017, the revised Kia Sorento is coming to the dealers. For the price Kia has not commented yet, until now, the Sorento starts at 34.990 Euro.(rh)
