Ford at the North American International Auto Show in Detroit the audience with the new edition of the GT surprised in January 2015. This is now over two years and the car is also produced since last month. Ford not provided official information on technical data and performance but so far. Now, the long overdue numbers have finally arrived. As is to be expected, the new Ford GT is extremely fast and extremely strong.
656 PS and 745 NM
Is the dry weight of 4.76 meters long and 2.24 meters wide (with mirrors) Ford GT 1,385 kilograms. It was already known that in the engine room a 3.5-litre V6 twin engine is used. But not that this unit produces 656 Horsepower at 6250 rpm and its maximum torque of 745 NM at 5900 RPM reached. The maximum speed indicates Ford 348 km/h, average consumption with almost 17 liters per 100 km (after United States cycle).
Fast lap time and little trunk
A 0-100 km/h time left Ford for the time being guilty. Comparison time is there anyway, because the manufacturer has already sent about the Calabogie the GT Motorsports Park.
