On the weekend of the 19th to the 21st of August, thousands met on the beach from Travemünde on the Baltic Sea VW Beetle and beetle fans. Together with some celebs and over 650 cars, including the updated beetle of the current generation ' was introduced the audience.
New Beetle and Special Edition on the Baltic Sea
The beetle for the 2017 model year has been aufgehübscht with new bumpers, fresh colors and a larger selection of material for the Interior. As a special eye-catcher VW brought the beetle 'Denim' to Travemünde: the convertible roof of the little Speedster is like at the beetle Special Edition 1974 jeans fabric.
Many celebrities and many cars
The event was hosted by PS professional Sidney Hoffmann and the rapper MC Fitti. Also on site: the actor Erol Sander, Luna Schweiger and Karoline Schuch. Together with the owners of some 650 beetles and beetle, the celebrities started a rally from five different start points to the marquee in Brügmanngarten. There, amongst the most beautiful vehicle of the event was chosen: a beetle in the Smurf design. Gaby Kraft, many years organiser of the beetle Sunshinetour was completely happy: "every year I think it was the most beautiful Sunshinetour we've ever had. And every year I'm proved wrong. It was also this year. back even more beautiful" (mf)
